Julie and Julia

Charming film. From my vantage point as a biographer at work, I found the Julie narrative moving.

Some reviewers took the film to the woodshed because they found the Julie subplot weak and distracting from the Julia Child centerpiece.

I enjoyed the parallel narratives though.
